Eagle Single Seat Part 103 Legal Weight Shift Ultralight Aircraft

The Eagle uses bolt and rivert together, aluminum tube construction covered in Dacron sail cloth. Building times were reported to be in the 100 hour range.

The Eagle is a high wing, wire braced, weight shift control, aircraft in a pusher configuration with a canard and wing tip rudders. There were a number of structural failures of the Eagle. These were caused by failure of the wings trailing edge fabric.

An update was issued which used heavier wing fabric to address the problem.
